Easton’s Speed Series consist of the S1, a two-piece composite design, S2 a two-piece hybrid design and the S3 a one- piece all alloy. All three bat designs in the speed series will have the lowest MOI compared to like bats in the industry. Lower MOI allows batters to swing the bat faster with less effort and more control. Increased bat speed and control results in more productive at bats and power at the plate. The S1 is pound for pound the best speed series bbcor bat available from Easton. As a two-piece all composite design the S1 is the easiest bat to swing in the industry. The S2 is priced at 299.99 and will be a little more barrel heavy than the more balanced S1. Rounding out the Speed Series Easton BBCOR bats is the S3. Like the S2 the S3 features Easton Signature THT100 alloy. Each bat in the speed series will feature a black stealth-like paint job that screams speed and performance.
The counterpart to the Speed Series is the XL series. MASS = Power and the XL line up is the 18 wheeler of the BBCOR bat world. Boasting the largest, most massive sweet spots in the game the XL series means business at the plate. Like the speed series the XL line consist of three different designs. The XL1 BCBOR is Easton’s two-piece composite design and is pound for pound the heavy weight champ of BBCOR Bats. The XL1 has the longest barrel and largest sweet spot in the game.
